Saturday afternoon treat in town is this new beer from @teamutopian.bsky.social - a collab with @craftbeerchannel.bsky.social - called Sumave. Tripel decoction, 12 degrees Plato, fulsome on palate, acceptable level of diacetyl and glorious application of bitterness in finish

My one and only stab at motoring journalism involved driving this Defender with a V8 engine around Exmoor back in the late 1990s, it was never used by the men’s glossy that commissioned me so my fledging Top Gear career never happened, but it was a real beauty of a beast to drive
