It’s being used as a scapegoat for failed designs. Anyone that has a good EV design is building it since 80% of the world is going electric and there is great demand for good electric cars. But if you have a bad design, this is a great time to blame Trump for your own failure.

He has been fighting the corrupt dealers in many states for 15 years. Dealers fund campaigns to protect their monopolies. Public supports competition.

I don’t think he has any new space contracts. SpaceX is so much cheaper than the other alternatives to send mass to space it is not a serious criticism.

Pretentious could be true depending on the person. Rich could also be true depending on the person’s side hustle. Some/many help startups develop products and sometimes get equity in those ventures. Something you could look into if so inclined. 1/2

You (or the article) might be confusing Plug in Hybrids with Battery Electric Vehicles. Battery Electric vehicles might reach 50% share by Dec 2025, but are unlikely to be 50% for the whole 2025. 2026 is likely and still 9 years early and a great success!
