I work in healthcare. I have (very expensive) private insurance. I just booked a dermatologist appointment for my child in January of 2026. THANK GAWD we don’t live in some Democratic, industrialized hellscape with socialized medicine, or we might actually have to wait to see a doctor.

“When I woke up, I was excited it was the Super Bowl and I got to spend the day with you guys. I didn’t realize I’d have to go outside” says my daughter, who is having a very different childhood than mine.
