New feature for checklister: Changing the name of a checklist after it's been created. Useful when you want to create a packing list early and add some items specific to that trip.

Pro-tip: Add a gate to your husky pre-commit hooks and they will only run when your agent tries to commit. Not when you (the human) want to do quick commits.

Last week I published Checklister. This week I wrote a post about how I use it. I mainly use it for packing lists and my weekly review.

You can read more about it on my blog. 24letters.com/blog/how-i-u...

Published a new webapp I've been using for a while: Checklister. Create and execute repeatable checklists with ease. It does only that, but it does it really well.

Check it out: checklister.app

I built a nice project today, a dev server manager.

I started letting my AI agents manage dev servers, but they (and I) kept forgetting to turn them off. So I built a manager to list/start/stop/restart servers. Now I can say "Start server" and it works. Try it out: github.com/atimmer/devs...

I was annoyed with the existing state of online unit converters, so I created my own.

The general idea is simply: The UI for conversions should be a single text box. Anything else is just annoying.

I think people experimenting with ad-libitum diets is super interesting and might result in a breakthrough at some point.

As a software engineer, part of your job is "well, actually". Because the computer is the ultimate "well, actually" machine. One of the skills of being a great engineer is knowing when to deploy this "well, actually" skill.

As software builders we have tremendous choice in how to present our user inputs. I recently was talking about how I think Moneybird is a 9-9.5 as a product and Exact Online is a 6. I've written befor...
