outside of the U.K. and most audiences don’t really know much about him. The monkey angle of this film is actually pretty smart.

The point is that capitalism makes monkeys of us all and commodifies our image. He’s seen as nothing more than a monkey performing for a crowd and it’s an examination of how he has to come to grips with this reality. It didn’t fail because of this however, it failed because he’s fairly niche-
