One day I'll remember to pin her down on the specifics and give this largely ignored bit of kit a new lease of life

Anaesthesia blocks- I do awake nerve blocks if patient is having only block and asleep if they are having GA. Most chronic pain blocks are awake or rarely mild sedation as needed. No hard and fast rules.🙏🏽

Other wise folks such as @athmathottungal.bsky.social still perform proximal femoral blocks with dilute solutions and get comparable outcomes
