Good morning from Advent. ⚓️

“Arcadia” is one of the few volumes that has come with me through every single move. I first saw it as a teenager, and the way it played with words and science and time and, well, the human experience, etched a permanent mark in my imagination. #stoppard

Ash Wednesday started at 4:15am in Cleveland and ended with the 7pm service at home in Oakland, where I forgot our sackcloth vestments me cough and sneeze. A messy person on a blessedly messy holy day. ⚓️

Running in this rain was actually fun, but caused my watch to pause less than 2/3 of the way through. And everyone knows if it didn’t Strava, it didn’t happen.
