Finished (basically)!

Great progress on the emerald sword, decided to redo the iilt last night to try and make it more sweeping, and match up better with my concept scribbles. (Hilt picture is my rough concept test, I don't seem to have pics of the proper one). Got a lot more colour on the blade! #larp #foamsmith

Will try masking it off next time to see if it's the sprayglue being a problem. Guess I'm painting this one on.

More progress on this crystal sword for Syzygy #Larp. Got the gems shaped and on, and some of the no more gaps filler applied. The makers mark isn't working, I'm wondering if the sprayglue on the area is getting reactivated by the heat gun. It's a shame, the test came out beautifully.

One larp over, another one in *far too close*, so I better like, make a weapon for it. Because of course I've decided to be extra for 2 weekend games.

More progress on the #larp machete! It's all PD'd, and now painted and sealed :)

Another archive build of a year or so ago - decided late in character prep that I shouldn't rely on nerf guns for post apoc combat, and quickly made this tactical tomahawk. .based slightly on a winkler design, but now in foam and plastidip. Also apparently the only pics I took of it. #larp

Today's build: making my outdoor temporary spray booth walls, and getting the first coat of pd onto this machete

Build from almost a year ago for a post apoc #larp World That Is. I had been playing a bunch of Cyberpunk 2077 at the time, so decided my character looted a spacegun from an Arcology, or supply crate. Base model is a #Nerf motoblitz, with #kitbashed additions.

Hahhaha I didn't have a good place for my World This Is post apoc #larp spacegun, and kept having to move it around. This morning I modified an existing file from yeggi, and now it has a place

Next step in this #larp machete! Weather is too shit to plastidip outdoors, so grip and blade sealing it is.

Need to build the pommel yet, and going to cover this and the transition from the foam to the wood with a leather grip cover

3d printer makes adding fake makers marks to larp weapons is super easy!

Making some V2 #larp throwing knives for Consequence weird west larp in NZ. First gen was cast in smooth on flex foam X, and then plasti-dipped and painted. They did not hold up well.

Gen 2 is flex foam 25, and I brushed mica power into the mold. Worlds of difference.
