Here is the breakdown of all radar systems.
Nebo-U/UM/T is the prime system, closely followed by the Sopka-2.

41 systems couldn't be identified (4.3%).

Finally, system range. As russia is the biggest country in the world, and so was the Soviet Union. Range has been a very important parameter in radar design.

That is why Russia operates a large number of long range VHF radars.

What is the generational breakdown of those systems ?
There are still 35% of systems from 70's, although most of them have been modernised. 19% from the 80's.

Meaning that more than half (54%) are coming from Soviet Era.

If we classify by Category we have this break down.
More than 64% are Early Warning Radars, which matches the main role of Radio Technical Regiments.

Low Altitude Radars (17%) are also important has Soviet Forces needed solution to counter low-flying cruise missiles.
