Bluesky gained 1M users post-2024 U.S. election, growing from 13M in October to 20M by Nov. 19, tripling in three months. Reasons: dissatisfaction with X (formerly Twitter) under Elon Musk, ties to Trump, and Bluesky’s decentralized structure offering more user control over data and content.
