Big rivers, good for birds, lodges all built on water for views
About 3 hours plus a few stops for birding and 4 border posts - out of Zim, into Botswana, out of B, into Namibia. Much more streamlined than in and out of Zambia yesterday as there were almost no other people crossing

Apparently they’re prefabs so they can move them back as the river erodes the bank - some of the previous safari tents did fall over the edge

Not for lunch but we’ve just arrived at our new lodge on the Zambezi again by boat. Very swish prefab “cabins”, excellently equipped, great WiFi!

Definitely, I’d probably use a bit less ginger though - it had cayenne as well so was quite spicy
