The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is warning consumers to be on the lookout for undisclosed “hidden” fees this holiday season. Hidden fees are merchant charges that are not included in the advertised price of a consumer good or service and are not otherwise disclosed to the consumer in advance.

AG Brown and 21 other attorneys general are suing the U.S. Department of Education for unlawfully restricting eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, which allows government and nonprofit employees to apply to have their federal student loans forgiven after 10 years of service.
