Point is not whether it recommends what to it or not in the paper, but how it is interpreted. Now these results are circulated as the evidence for “eat fruits and vegetables, don’t eat meat and butter.” Same old pattern. I’m tired of food questionnaire based studies

How indeed… just throwing unhealthy garbage food at ppl is not a viable solution, which billions will do. Perhaps building sustainable agricultural industry along with food industry that produces minimally processed food would be a solution. Before settling Mars, we should invest in our health

By this measure, one would think that the recent nih research overhead cuts would make academia self-reflect and reassess its broken system but instead all i hear is complaining. How about more money diverted to fewer but better quality research?

Did my phd dissertation in autism related topic. Any time i try to explain this, i get floods of harassment from the crowd committed to vaccine theory. All other potential explanations are sidelined, which is counterproductive if they want understand potential causal factors.

Standard language in pretty much all apps’ user agreement. If anyone truly read the UAs or terms of service, they would never put many apps on their phone. Not only we let them keep our data, we allow them monitor our activities. And yes, some apps are from China and we cannot even tell.
