A digitally altered "Nancy" comic strip. In it we can see Nancy saying "I always wanted to go through the rooms of that old house" while approaching an old western-style house. "Especially the one they call the mystery room" she says inside a room with damaged walls and spider webs. Then she reaches a closed door and says "Now we'll see what's on the other side". In the original comic strip Nancy steps outside this last panel's border and falls into "nothing!" as she exclaims while falling in a blank space. Although in this version there is a last panel, consisting in nothing but black color, depicting a room devoid of any light. In the top of the image says "NANCY", "By Mark Z. Danielewski" instead of "By Ernie Bushmiller".

As for the blue one, it took me a lot of time to decide what kind of pet to give her. There was already a black cat (carnivore) and white rabbit (herbivore), so I wanted to draw another mammal that wouldn't count as a repetition. Found this photo by @priscilladupreez on #Unsplash and gave it a try.

This piece took me almost 2 years (of very not consecutive work) in the making.

At the start I planed on making the yellow girl as a color-blending study, but thought she looked a little lonely, so I made the pink one after.
