wait that’s really strange it looks like 75% of the county’s growth from 2010-2020 was from the black population but i have no clue why it’s increasing i’d expect the opposite trend

they’re the most urban parts of the state, fargo and grand forks
both are sort of post-industrial so i’m not shocked by the demographics there, and ofc they’re still like 80-90% white

It’s not, NY is still blue, but Trump flipped Niagara and it’s 11 electoral votes.

Also if you're curious because they are sort of hard to see, the 25-50% Pacific Islander county is Kalawao, Hawaii, and the <10% Pacific one is Randolph, Arkansas (no clue how that happened).

Trump flipped back seven states he lost to President Joe Biden in 2020: Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Niagara, and Georgia. He did so through expanding his margins with nearly every demographic group, improving the most among Hispanic voters.
