Thanks - appreciate it. It appears people got confused purchasing the meme and lost their investment - if they got out.

Question is, what is the crime? Which law is being broken? Does anyone know? My reading shows there has always been the assumption that the leader of the US wouldn't do this type thing - basically, have ethics. We hope elected folk do the best possible for the people and not enrich themselves.

Sounds like you know about this - I may be using the wrong word. My comment relates to the meme coin (and now the activity to drive it up it's price via the upcoming dinner where winners might get access to the president) as well as the new family business with World Liberty Financial. Inaccurate?

Hi. Grift implies small scale. We need a bigger word for what's going on here. If we ask for ethics from an unethical? And not hiding it since no one has yet to figure out how to prove corruption in a closed system (bitcoin). And when the platform is owned by the person making the profit?

Corruption, conflict of interest - no one can seem to nail this jello to the wall - apparently. When Congress decided to exempt the president from potential conflicts of interest, they either knew this was coming (very cunning) or had no idea it was coming (which is apparently now). I don't know.

We can. Don't give away your power. In state elections, vote for those in favor of our democracy. In elections in other states, if you know someone that lives there, tell them to vote for the person who wants democracy. And write/call your state congress people today. You have influence.

A few bucks - "Campaign finance records show that Milton and his wife donated more than $1.8 million to a Trump fundraising committee in October."
