An 18% price hike on our medigap coverage, and a similar hike in our HO/auto policies! How many more retirees, like us, are going to qualify for aid from social safety nets....which not longer exist? This is essentially genocide of the 'Underclass'.

Just received this from BlueCross. A premium increase notice of 19% ...we will be paying $1200+ more per year for the same Medigap policy ..for a total of roughly $6000. Any idea what that that does to our fixed income budget? And that is just Medicare ... our HO/can insurance has also gone up 15%
