Sad, but profoundly true. I left the country of my birth, the country whose Navy I served in during the Vietnam Era, the country my father enlisted in the US Army to fight the Nazis that seem to be running the US into the ground. I will never set foot on US soil again.

The only reason DHS is taking action against the agent is because the abuse is documented.

I left NYC 2 years after my 26 year old wife of 5 years just fell over dead one morning from a stroke. They blamed a combination of cigarettes and birth control pills. I had a successful career as a professional photographer that collapsed as I descended into drug and alcohol abuse.

Great affordable Healthcare and awesome food here on the Pacific Coast of the Izu Peninsula.

BTW- I was born and raised in NYC.

All our friends thought we were crazy for moving to a new country (CR) at 72 & 69.

We love adventures and exploring other cultures.

I moved to Mill Valley in 78 and met my wife in Greenbrae in 83. We married in 84. We retired in 2018 and spent 6 years in Costa Rica before moving to Japan in 2024.

Thanks for the memory. I lived in Marin for over 45 years. I met and married my soul mate there 41 years ago.
