Just a sparrow fart trying my best to hoot with wise owls and soar with brave eagles.

Raspberries are my spirit fruit.
So he’s not watching Kid Rock?

Labi Siffre is a damn legend. Fav albums are Crying Laughing Loving Lying (1972) and Remember My Song (1975). But honestly fun to do a deep dive into any of his albums.

He must not have been a very good atheist. Poor guy.

So, this is what it looks like when she smiles. Never seen her do that before.

What really matters this holiday season? Celebrating however you want, whether that’s the birth of the Son or the rebirth of the Sun. Or neither!

Make lots of good food and give/receive some gifts. Light candles. Get the holiday music going. Dress warm and go for winter walks.

I’d wear this.

Liam’s social media posts are always on point. I’m sad to see he felt the need to lend his talent to something opposite of his otherwise stellar views. Did he really need that extra money that bad?

I’ve been attending a local Unitarian Universalist “church” as a nonbeliever and it’s been pretty fun. It’s left-leaning and open to all faiths and nonbeliefs. I enjoy the fellowship and the discussions we have. But this is the only place I’d ever go. Never need to attend a Christian church.

I think it means that years down the road when this is revealed, Christians will blame atheists again for pure evil (even though plenty voted for him)

I’d like to get away from Spotify as well. But I have discovered many new great artists through Spotify’s suggestions and Discover Weekly. Does Qobuz offer curated playlists that are built around my taste but deep dive into not as popular artists?

Reminds me of this Sprite commercial gem around the late 90s.

“Sunfizz! That’s our favorite!”

I’d go if it weren’t 9 hours away. Come up to Iowa, dammit.

“The Dutch House” by Anne Patchett narrated by Tom Hanks for 10 hours was the best stumble-upon audiobook I didn’t know I needed this year.

I personally love Deuteronomy 25:12-13

“If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, 12 you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.”

I’ve been obsessed with RGI the last couple years. Got a bunch of his first editions and I’m even giving a presentation on him next weekend at my local UU. It’ll be an honor to share his wisdom with others in my small, conservative community.
