Recent 5090 high failure rate connector failure could be caused by the orentation of the connector socket on FE GPUs. Current coming in on those pins closer to the PCB will encounter less resistance compoared to the other pins, melting only the pin closest to the board + the wire attached to it

Found my stuff to do this again, and have a dead GA102 GPU. Not a priority project rn but something I certainly want to get back into
