In a new court filing, Shapiro argues that states — not the federal government — are legally empowered to regulate the practice of medicine, and that Trump’s Department of Justice is trying to usurp state laws that license and oversee doctors.

I proudly stand with the nearly 1000 nurses at UPMC Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh in their fight for patient care and safe staffing.

Rather than put nurses and patients first, UPMC has run a vicious anti-union campaign.

UPMC must get serious and respect its workers.

When it comes to SEPTA funding you have to accept that the PA GOP is not operating in good faith and refuse to engage with their terms of debate. They are starting with the end goal of damaging Philadelphia and Southeast PA and building logical fallacies backwards to get there.

Also the fact that Cherelle Parker is not out front and center doing everything in her power to protest the SEPTA cuts basically invalidates the entire point of having a mayor. I understand the direct impact she can have is limited but she should still be incessantly denouncing it.

This is a do or die moment for politicians who represent Philly.

Save SEPTA from cuts and go down as a hero, or fail to do so and permanently have your reputation tied to actions that dramatically set back the 2nd largest east coast city.

This budget can still be changed if funding passes after.
The SEPTA Board will vote on Thursday, 6/26 to adopt a fiscal year 2026 budget with a projected $213 million deficit, which includes a 45% reduction in services, fare increases, and a 9 PM curfew for all rail services: wwww.septa.org/fundingcrisis/. #ISEPTAPHILLY #HowWeRoll #FundSEPTA
