Does it have that power on its own or need Senate help? Who currently has complete or substantial access to these files? Who has complete or substantial knowledge of them but no current access (e.g., Biden people)? Who might respond to a public pressure campaign to leak them?

I think there would be a lot of value in an explainer piece on the what, how, and who here (and BTW, TPM's search brings up lots of broken Livewire links for "epstein files"). First, what does "the Epstein files" specifically refer to or not refer to? What happens if the House votes to release them?

The message Republicans spread is that it's Democrats' fault. The message many Democratic voters with big platforms spread is that it's Democrats' fault. Last year a dim electorate chose to put an insurrectionist and would-be dictator in the White House. Do you think these things are connected?
