Same here! It's a nice comfy pace, imo... fast enough to make a proper dent in the ever-growing TBR backlog, slow enough to properly appreciate each one.

I had the vague AI suspicion too, but couldn't find any clear tells, and I hate the way AI has made so many creatives so suspicious of each other. I have friends who have been falsely accused before and it sucks. This might well be from, idk, some "how to draw birds" yt tutorial with 100 views lol

It's not even just the human figure aspect, it's everything about the work: the medium, the colour palette, the texturing, the full background with none of the paper/canvas texture visible. It's an extremely modern style in comparison. I'd be genuinely shocked if the work was his.
