Ok, I was looking up examples and found out the style is already called Yacht Rock. Which ok I guess that's fitting. BUT it also includes lots other general retirement age rock, so one of mine could still be used for the beachy/vacation themed ones. Thanks for coming to my ted talk this was stupid.

It's the kind of music that always plays in places that just so happen to be in walking distance of beachfront condos and timeshares. I can't count the amount of times I've heard songs like Margaritaville or Kokomo drifting from sports bars like a siren song to attract wild sunburned boomers (cont)
