but I've had two cats at two vastly different points in my life and they've both done the same thing. and it's not a gender thing either. both my male and female cat did it.

while you'd think that this is just dog behavior, cats actually familiarize people based on smells as well.
when your cat becomes comfortable with you and eventually finds its favorite person, you'll find her interested in the socks and shoes for comfort.

I want to make a fic in 1st person just because I haven't done it before, but I also want to have the pace and story telling of 3rd person.
would it be unhinged if I wrote the fic itself in 3rd, and then fourth-wall broke with the main character doing their own old school A/N in 1st person????
