Happy news: our preprint is now on arxiv! We pointed JWST at the nearest ultraluminous infrared galaxy Arp 220, and found that its heavily obscured western nucleus is absolutely full of molecular absorption bands. Read it here ➡️ arxiv.org/abs/2502.10271 🔭 #extragalactic
