What a great day at Cornwall Slush'd 2025 in Newquay yesterday. Some truly great startups showcasing their businesses both off stage and on for the pitch competition.

Just seen Robbie Williams tour at the Royal Crescent, Bath.

The "King of Entertainment" was amazing. Such a brilliant show.

Back home in Cornwall now and going through some of the images I took off the East End, London.

London has changed so much since I worked there in the 1990s.

I had too much work kit to take a proper film camera so had to make do with the mobile.

Had a couple of days in London for #SXSWLondon.

Brought our "South West comes to SCSW" talk to a new audience.

Met some amazing people but now it's time to return home.

Walking on the beach at the weekend I found these. First I found a piece of a packet from Kazakhstan. Next day a whole packet that possibly floated from further afield, Quanhzou.

The beach is in Cornwall.

Roman villa Catullo in Sirmione on Lake Garda. These shots give you an idea of just how big this villa must have been.

This Roman villa was built on a slope down to the lake. The main living area was on a flat area. To keep everything flat the slope was built up. The ends were maybe 7 stories high.

Visited the Roman villa in Sirmione yesterday. I've never seen anything so large that's classed as a villa! Hopefully the 3D images will help you see.

Lambretta in the hotel reception. Sirmione, Lake Garda.

The lady hotel I stayed in actually had a car in reception. So this is a bit of a let down!

Torre Di Catullo, Bardolino, Lake Garda.

Like another tower in Pisa this one also leans. Currently held up by being attached to a hotel.

I ran a coding session in Cornwall this week. A quiet turnout but still successful.
Discover42 were the hosts in Bodmin. If you're ever around there please visit them. They've got the most interesting place.
The picture is just of the café.

My first Bluesky post doesn't feature any blue sky. It does have Lanyon Quoit. I accidentally discovered it last week when I drove by.
Love a bit of ancient history. Even though tech is more my strong point.
