Florida, Winter 2025: The Wetlands

Had the chance to catch an early, foggy morning at the Orlando Wetlands back in February. While everyone else was watching the spoonbills, my eye was on a gator swimming up to the boardwalk and vultures perched atop palms that were past their primes.

Would you believe that these were taken two miles from a developed downtown? And that they were captured on film? It’s not hard to find woodland isolation in an urban environment, you only need to venture off the sidewalk.
