Yea they are interesting for sure. I always make the time to pull them out of the menhaden mouths with forceps. I've come across a few that were getting ready to spawn! I've been looking up information about them this year, so thank you for the work you've provided!

I saw them all the time inside of Atlantic Menhaden mouths and attached to Atlantic Croaker and Silver Perch gills in the Fall. Gross, but satisfying to remove
