Got some clear skies yesterday, so took a photo of the moon in its waxing crescent phase which lasts for a week after new moon. Took a 10 minute video and 90 minutes of processing time. #moon #moonphotography #waxingmoon #astrophotography #edmonton #canada #india #chile #astrophotosnerd #seestar

It’s been super cold out so pointed my telescope at the moon from my window for 10 minutes. Processing the image took another hour. Here is the result. Probably would have been better if the thick window glass didn’t make it difficult to achieve crystal clear focus.

Clouds were relentless, but finally got a glimpse of the comet T-ATLAS as I was entering the supermarket! #astrophotography #astrophotosnerd #comet

After many cloudy nights, finally got a clear one. Took a 10 minute stack of 10 second exposures of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) with my Seestar S50. Given that I live in a Bortle-7 city, I think it came out quite nice! #astrophotography #astrophotosnerd

The Sun! Look closely and you'll see sunspots. Those dark patches are cooler areas on the Sun's surface caused by intense magnetic activity. They are fascinating as they give us insights into the solar cycle and the Sun's magnetic behavior. #astrophotography #sun #sunspots #astrophotosnerd
