Stuff like this is the reason a lot of folks feel AI would translate things better than some human. The official Viz version isn't a translation or an adaptation, but a fiction rewrite. 🤷♂️

I mean "ratings" as in "minutes watched." When The Acolyte episode 8 dropped, it got an abysmal 335M minutes and #10 for originals (#26 for all streaming in minutes watched that week). Apparently, the "review bombers" were a major part of the audience watching it for YouTube content.

This is a meaningless stat that smells of massive cope. There are over 8B people in the world. If 1B watched 2.7 minutes each, suddenly, 2.7B minutes watched is absolute garbage. 500M? ~5 minutes each. 100M? 27 minutes each. See this ratings chart by comparison.
