I am retired and live in The Villages, Florida. I am very active in maintaining my sanity by focusing on Electronically Assisted Astronomy using my Seestar S50 all in one smart telescope.
Messier 78 and other objects in the image are identified in this image from my Seestar S50.

Another region of sunspots, towards the lower left of the disk, released a coronal mass ejection (CME), a cloud of charged plasma, that is headed towards the Earth. This could increase aurora activity for the New Year.

Idiots, lies come easily to their propagandists. The tariffs are paid by US citizens buying the products and that loose jobs because other countries retaliate by raising tariffs on our products entering their countries.

Many traditional amateur astronomers in our astronomy club have purchased the Seestar’s and Dwarf 2 telescopes because they are so easy to use and give good results. The best telescope is the one you use.

Instead of observing 2 or 3 times a month, I have the Seestar going on most clear, and sometimes not so clear, nights. It handles the Bortle 6/7 light pollution and high humidity haze of Central Florida easily. It is great for public outreach.
