The heaviest burden of natural disasters, specifically wildfires, are on the unhoused, low-income, elderly, children, immunocompromised, and outdoor workers. Earthrise has several great resources on how to help marginalized communities and firefighters. #LAFires

Did you know the largest meteorite ever found in the U.S. is the Willamette Meteorite? Weighing over 34,000 pounds, it’s displayed at the @natural-history.bsky.social. Fun fact: it contains iridium, found in concentrations thousands of times higher than in Earth’s crust! #ScienceFacts

I had the incredible opportunity to see the Milky Way galaxy while in the Australian Outback. It was an experience I’ll never forget. I’ll continue to advocate for dark skies because everyone should experience the beauty of our night sky without light pollution.
