I think need more sub frames to pull out the details better and reduce the noise but it's a very pretty region of space even when not photographed too well. This is the Eagle Nebula.

Clouds cleared up so I'm able to take pictures of space clouds. Currently imaging the North American nebula. Looks good so far.

Ohio has voted overwhelmingly against the proposed amendment specifically designed to make it harder to pass an amendment that will protect abortion rights that will be voted on in the next election! Huge win for democracy in ohio!

On a related note, my favorite giraffe fact is that they have a super long nerve because when our common ancestors evolved that nerve it went around an artery near the heart so to get messages from muscles to the brain that are only inches away it has to go through a 5m nerve.

Second favorite photo, the dumbbell nebula. It formed as a red giant star died, shedding it's outer layers (which is now the nebula) leaving a cooling white dwarf in its center. The same will happen to the sun in a few billion years. Was thrilled with how vivid the colors were in this one.

It's even worse when you take pictures space clouds. Whole ass star systems fit inside these things it's wild.
