Magnificent stellar nursery where new stars are born. Vivid pink/red from ionized hydrogen, blue from reflected starlight. Visible to naked eye in Orion's sword. Contains Trapezium Cluster of hot young stars illuminating surrounding gas and dust.

My latest capture of the Horsehead Nebula in Orion🌌.

This cosmic sculpture of dust and gas never ceases to amaze me: the dark silhouette against glowing hydrogen creates one of the night sky's most recognizable features.
