Intrigued by the potential of life beyond the cosmic coastline and legal implications 👩‍🚀👽🛸
I love coming across a comic that perfectly describes how I feel right now in this first month of my PhD! Thats me!!!!!!! Give it a couple years and my hair might be the same colour too

A fantastic week at #COSPAR25 in Nicosia, Cyprus where I presented at my first international conference! An absolutely amazing experience. Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a fascinating and memorable week.

Scafell Pike, Lake District. The tallest mountain in England.

It is important to remember that whilst we search for habitable worlds out there, much of what we are looking for is right here on our beautiful Earth already. We shouldn’t take it for granted!

Beautiful sights on a beautiful day!🌍🚀🪐

Happy to share my first ever published paper (as a contributor). The product of my placement year just over 2 years ago. Looking at fossilised organic/inorganic tubules on Mars.

So honoured to have been part of this team.

Was back in Edinburgh this week, attending a workshop about outer space from an ecological economics perspective! So interesting to discuss themes like sci-fi, space mining, settlement and ET with a fresh lens and with new people too!

Also got to see the lovely @astr0mia.bsky.social too!!

Space inspires the world around us! After a weekend in Berlin, I can see some are more obvious than others.

Berlin’s famous TV Tower is inspired by the Soviet’s Sputnik. A symbol of power from East Germany

The Cosmonaut (Victor Ash) is an unmissable mural on a building in Kreuzberg.

non-space related but my weekend welcomed a new member to my family. Little Eli (like Elijah). So far, he loves to try and stand on my laptop, sleep and give everyone a big lick and a cuddle. 🫶 My arms and shoes are covered in bite marks but my heart feels very full!

I hosted some focus groups last year on Mars colonisation and made some space cakes to stay on theme! My friend bought the space tiramisu - I’ll never make a non-space tiramisu again 🤩✨🪐

Just completed my Christmas present of the ‘Tales of The Space Age’ Lego set!! Beautiful pieces of art.

Nice little detail of the Ursa major on the pink one! ✨

I sometimes get comments on it so wanted to share my desktop - best motivation I’ve found for keeping it all organised 🪐 featuring the Pillars of Creation #JWST (not to scale)

Heres the video of Saturn as this picture looks so blurry - don’t mind my shaky hand!

(Zoom into the first one to see the stripes of jupiter)

Although the evenings feel so long now - it means I can get my telescope out even earlier and enjoy the wonders of our solar system! This is what I observed last night. 🪐✨
