Goodnotes screen that reads Rock people stuff idk. Rocks are hard things that are sometimes shiny. They are made of minerals and geologist like them a lot because reasons idk. Maybe just cos they're rock people, or maybe they're actually secretly penguins? Additionally there is a graphic of a plain smooth rock, with a hand drawn arrow pointing to it and a label that says 'rock.'

I legit need info on the prediction Betelgeuse will become a neutron star for uni, and regular search results are like "WHEN WILL BETELGEUSE EXPLODE AND KILL US ALL" while arXiv is like "THAT TIME IT DIMMED AND WE WERE CONFUSED AF, FAM".

So much drama.

Full moon here tonight, and because we've just passed the perigee (357,181km closest distance to Earth on July 31st), it might look a little closer and brighter 🔭🧪

Early commisioning test image from Euclid showing many points of light. Closer stars are recognisable by their diffraction spikes, and a galaxy is recognisable by it's brighter central bulge and spiral arms flowing off that. These are the produce boxes I get each week for the kids. I forgot to do it today, but keen to give goblin tools a try with recipe ideas once I've taken out the lunchbox items!
