The Trifid Nebula - M20
Aptly named because it is comprised of three different types of Nebula.
An emission nebula, the reddish center.
A reflection nebula, the bluish outer.
And some dark nebula, the dark lines separating the three lobes.

​This 14th century chapel is located on the eastern outskirts of Monsaraz, Portugal.

With a simple rectangular shape, this Gothic-style chapel served as a spiritual support for the leprosarium that was adjacent to it.

The Elephant’s Trunk Nebula (IC 1396) is a giant emission nebula that is over 3 degrees in diameter (Visually, 6 times larger than our full moon). It is illuminated by a hot, massive O-type star (HD 206267) near its center. Photo taken from my rooftop.
