This is slowly eroding away people's understanding of how things work and slowly instilling this (incorrect) idea that generative AI is universally adopted by entire industries. This could just be semantics but it's definitely not just minor in how it's influencing the dialogue around GenAI in games

This is because "AI" is the word we use to describe any instance of computer controlled movement in a game, like an enemy fighting back! But instead, these fuckheads are using that word and society at large is instantly replacing it with what we know as "Generative AI".

I can't help but feel that's an obscenely high HP for such a low MP, but it's been a very long time since I played. Also the wind hate upsets me more than it rightfully should

It shits me eternally, as someone working in the data space, that AI is now instantly associated with those fuckass LLMs and not the incredibly wide range of useful and creative things that count as AI.

I was spooked by SA-X, but more specifically the three note musical sting that plays when Adam first names the villain early on. For some reason that actually just froze me as a kid. I remember hearing a series of sounds that happened to match those three notes out in public and I panicked
