En jaksanut seurata itseäni tutuille poluille, tehdä mitään vain siksi, että oli syntynyt joku toimintatapa tai rytmi taiteen julkaisemiselle. Syksyllä 2021 sain valmiiksi kaiken siihenastisen: julkaisin D/other -albumin ja väittelin tohtoriksi Helsingin yliopistosta. Samalla odotin kuolemaa, joka ehtisi korjata minut joko juuri ennen kuin uusi lääke edes saapuu Suomeen, tai siitä huolimatta.

Since my attempt to disentangle from M began, I have found myself here, Mastodon, Signal (😜) and now Substack peeking in, not sure what to do and where… meanwhile spending far less time on any socials and taking less photos. I feel like I did when I stopped smoking 14 years ago. (Pic Brussels 2010)

Since my attempt to disentangle from M began, I have found myself here, Mastodon, Signal (😜) and now Substack peeking in, not sure what to do and where… meanwhile spending far less time on any socials and taking less photos. I feel like I did when I stopped smoking 14 years ago. (Pic Brussels 2010)
Everyday and today is a good day for reading research on breast cancer and pink ribbon culture. I had my three-weekly Herceptin injection today. Feeling rubbish. Still curious though.

Yliopisto-opettajan aamiainen ja työpisteen koristelu. Luennoin monikanavaisesta omaelämäkerrallisesta ilmaisusta, toivon ja paranemisen vetovoimasta alustoituneessa kerronnassa. Sopivaa siis, että raportoin täällä 😆. Heti muistin miksi Leena-Maija Rossi sanoo ”opiskelijat ovat ihania”.
