I know Bernie has started a probe into the firings of federal employees. Not sure how much that will do. There is the new appointed DNC chair yesterday. So maybe things will start getting started.

Some members of Congress are already saying they want to go after rednote next. And that would likely get voted on pretty easily as it's a 100% Chinese app & all of the servers are in China. We need an independently owned US based one.

Yes! The kids are in bed & I'm used to sitting on the couch to do my nightly scrolling. And I've already opened it a couple of times just to see if anything changed.

I've been sad scrolling all day, and then seeing Jonathan just really did me in. I didn't realize just how sad I would really be seeing everyone say goodbye.

Same! I thought we had till midnight & I had been having issues with saving on & off the last 2 days. So I was trying to download as much as I could & then I got the message.

Thank you for posting! I tried to save as many as I could, but had to keep moving around to different computers & then it shut down earlier than I thought.

Especially when there are so many different ways to vote in many states. Mine had mail in, early voting, and election. Are you telling me so many couldn't find the time or care to do any of those?

Luckily I have only had to give 1 of my cats medicine once. But it was an experience I never want to relive.

I've been on here for a while now, but honestly don't use it as much since I like the video format of Tik Tok. It took a little getting used to at first. I had followed as many creators the last 2 days, but unfortunately not as many made an account on here as I would have liked.

This just reminded me that I forgot to turn 2 factor back on my account. I thought I had until midnight, & it was annoying as I was going between my phone & computer saving stuff. It worries me a bit that we can't get into our accounts at all.

I saw on the nerdist today that Bluesky was creating an Instagram type app called Flashes. I haven't had the time to double check on that though.

Me too! I was scrolling most of the day & it made it so much harder seeing everyone saying goodbye. And even if it comes back, it might not be the same.

It went down for me at 10:35ish. There was some confusion on the timezones, but I still had it in my head that it would be at least until midnight.
