It's not a question anymore of the merits of gender-affirming care, but of whether they can make their case against it seem urgent enough to justify throwing entire institutions under the bus to stop it. I don't see judges going along, especially when they're breaking their own procedure to do so.

I suspect this HHS rule isn't long for this world. It's a much lower bar to clear in court than an outright ban - every hospital in the country depends on Medicare/Medicaid, and even just threatening to take that away undermines their ability to provide the basic lifesaving care guaranteed by law.

It's important to make sure to know exactly who's who when talking about these kinds of attacks from within the Democratic Party. Gallego also supports deportations (including El Salvador & Guantanamo Bay), so this isn't surprising. This isn't making us enemies of people who weren't already enemies.

The fast fashion business model is much more difficult to effectively compete with or regulate, so it creates a race to the bottom where even established fashion brands start cutting corners and using slave labor.

Getting arrested during a protest is hardly a meaningful deterrent here. Politicians have access to the resources they need to defend themselves in court, and they won't lose their salaries for spending a few days in jail, so there's not much at stake for them. It just makes Trump look weak.

It's important to fact-check regardless. Grok is right that there's currently a proposed law in MN that would ban "nudify" apps, but it missed the more general ban on distributing deepfake pornography that the state already passed in 2023.

You can see the way that # of options affects reaction time when you play a character like Leo. When you have access to high/low, left/right, strike/throw, and frametrap/stagger offense all at once, you can afford to take an option out of the rotation if opp demonstrates that they can see it coming.

This is honestly a pretty funny switcheroo; at first he threatened to cut off social security entirely, but now he wants you not to notice that he's switched to threatening them with the money he already plans to cut. He's double-dipping, and I don't see any reason for it to work
