I might go back and rework some story beats later. Condensing things and lengthening other scenes in more detail but I am eager to keep writing. Been working on chapter 11 and I'm probably 15-20% through it already. Don't feel like stopping my momentum just yet. As always any feedback is invaluable

Authors note: I love the end of this chapter so much. It still makes me cry every time I re-read it. Brings me warm memories and closure at the same time. special thanks to my wife who helped come up with the Rhyme and a gentle take on a subject so sensitive but beautiful.

But I can't second guess myself and look back until the project is finished. Hence why these posts are all WIP copies. But I'm currently on 11 / 12 chapters, over 160k+ words deep and nearing the finish line. I can revisit these later when it's done and trim the fat. Thank you all for reading ❤️
