Yeah, i think looking back on my playthroughs, ive been lucky to play summoner, as that class is more dependent on boss drops and craftable items and much less on rng items. Early game i think general looting of a world sucks, but late game chests kinda become pointless, which is a separate issue ig

Yeah i get that. generally ive not needed much from fishing besides getting fish and materials for potion ingredients so i do not know much on the general vibes of trying to get one specific item, as nothing i tend to go for is locked behind RNG heavy drops. Rod of discord is horrible to get though.

I think the fishing is, okay? I feel like there are a lot of mechanics that could use general work, fishing, prefixes, evil biome spread, etc, are all mechanics that I think could generally use work. But I am also a player who much prefers fighting bosses, so I know my view is skewed.
