My first ever Vanda inflorescence is starting to open up! I do not know the full name of this Vanda unfortunately, but it did come with a tag marked with "V. Tony sp #3". I'm really proud of myself for keeping this guy alive since March!

I've been storing rhizomes from Oxalis triangularis 'Jroxburwi' (CHARMED® Wine Purple Shamrock) for a little more than 3 months now and finally decided to pot them up last week. They lived and are doing quite well. I love both the foliage colours and the cute flowers.

One of my Phalaenopsis sp. is reblooming! Half of the raceme is open now. I love the mottled appearance of the blooms on this one. This is my only orchid with this bicolour behavior. As these flowers age, the purple fades to a pink to lavender colour.

One of my Paeonia lactiflora bushes (herbaceous peony) opened some of their buds this past weekend. This plant was also gifted to me by my grandmother and this is its second season of blooms. I wish that these plants could set blooms again in the fall like how some Irises can.

Some Iris sibirica (Siberian Iris) started to bloom this weekend. This one is more pale compared to other plants I have seen before. Still is pretty though! This plant was gifted to me from my grandmother's garden and it has been in the ground for its third season.

Found some Paeonia × suffruticosa (Tree Peony) in bloom today. There were a white and pink cultivar planted side by side. I love these huge flowers a lot and it's really cool how visible the numerous stamens are.

I finally have an orchid to share as she is finally flowering! This is Sophrolaeliocattleya Angel Eyes 'SVO' × Sophrolaeliocattleya Angel's Fantasy 'Solar Flare'. As a mini Cattleya hybrid, these blooms are only around 3 cm wide. It is really cute.

While clearing out some winter foliage planters, I found these two juvenile Mourning Doves hiding. I've never seen them before, and I think they are really adorable.

Today I woke up to find my Hibiscus rosa-sinensis in bloom today. I wish that these blooms last longer than a day or two, as it is always a pleasure to see colours other than greens and yellows in my plant collection.

Found some very aromatic plants in bloom today. The one on the left is Trachelospermum jasminoides (Star-Jasmine) which is one of the most aromatic flowers I know of. On the right is Pimenta dioica (Allspice). Their leaves are very aromatic and make nice teas. Both plants I enjoy a lot.

I recently found two back-to-back full odds shiny Pokémon while playing Scarlet. This puts my shiny count for that game to 6!

Gathering ideas at an orchid show recently. Love the colour pallet of this Miltoniopsis sp. with the numerous flowers of Dendrobium nobile. Also enjoy the vibrant and cute inflorescence of this Epidendrum sp. I want to add these to my small orchid collection!
