DAPs are cool, I got this cheapo Android one new in box off eBay, got all sorts of stuff downloaded from spotify on it, as well as all my whole CD collection since I ripped them all a while back

I love this setup cause like it's the most basic older PC tower but like it's new enough that nobody would think that it would be a sleeper either (which I mean it both is and isn't I guess) and a gaming monitor that could easily pass as a basic office display it's like is this gaming or not?

Finally got a temporary place for me and my girlfriend's music stuff so we can actually use it, I'm so happy, even if we do have to run the soundboard out of her drum amp for now at least we have it set up

Sleeper PC update: I replaced the GPU with one of the same performance but much lower power draw (RX 9060 XT 16GB) and downgraded the PSU to a 650w, I'm also using it as my desktop gaming PC now because my actual main PC genuinely brings up the temp in my room an obscene amount

Decided to build a bit of a sleeper PC, I had previously built one in the case for the funny CS_Office PC but it didn't have enough space for what I wanted to do, so introducing: the fastest Optiplex 790 that I've ever seen

Y'know for $100 this "pioneer" (reportedly made by either Hisense or TCL) smart TV isn't bad at all, and while the xumo software isn't super straightforward, I prefer it to FireTV or Roku just because fuck those companies, yeah, I like this TV

I actually have monitors that (mostly) match now, plus one of them is 280HZ which is the highest refresh rate I've ever had!

It doesn't come through very well in the pictures but the crack goes all the way from the seam in the middle back to the top right before the finger pad, I'm amazed the thing's held up as well as it has considering it still works!

Went ahead and got a bit of a CPU upgrade cause I was getting severe stuttering issues while streaming Beat Saber while using LIV, ended up having to replace my case too because I had to upgrade my CPU cooler and the new one didn't fit in my old H5 Flow, but hopefully no more stuttering

I was serious about having 6 ThinkPads by the way, from left to right 380D, T43, T500, T520, T460s, 755C. The T460s is off because it is currently missing a Wi-Fi card (have a new one on the way) and the 755C is off because I actually do not own a charger for it and the chargers are really expensive

I cannot find a free DAW I agree with on windows so I found a good deal on a used 15" rMBP to use specifically for music, but until that arrives it looks like I'm going back to my Mac Pro

Switching back to windows is going fine all aside from one thing, I miss the simplicity of GarageBand :(
