We have rabbits, squirrels, etc and once they get going we don't have an issue. We do companion planting, not large amounts of the same plant in one area. Rabbits eat bush beans close to the ground though. Look up fork-tress for the young plants.

I got a vacuum sealer so I could chuck these in the deep freeze for the winter.
