Me and my DM always just assume my character has a few sheets of paper, a pen and some ink, even if I don't check that it's on my sheet. You can't keep track of every little thing on a character!

Yup, there's already an opportunity cost to doing something that requires an ability check anyway, adding risk on top of that makes it not worth the effort.

Low Rank is still good for de-rusting your reflexes and muscle memory, along with getting used to any new mechanics. You can also clear through it faster than a new player too, even if it still takes a while.

According to the rumors I've heard about Deadlock it'll have several modes that resemble TF2's like payload. Between that and the fantastical period setting it really does feel like a successor! Depends on what we actually get though.

If you really wanna be a Healing Hussy try going Ivy and picking Healing Booster and Rescue Beam as core build items. That's basically the closest you can get to a Medic/Mercy style healing beam in the game now.
