I think it has to do with the changes to information digestion that people have undergone in recent decades causing a fundamental difference in how people learn. text blurbs and videos being more readily consumed by teens and young adults. Why read a 150 pg treatise when you can YouTube it.

I saw this post as well as one by gardaworld. The one from gardaWorld is listed for Canadians to work as a prison guard in Florida which is all kinds of crazy ironic considering what it's for.....

It almost makes me feel like it's all one big gotcha to show the country that big government doesn't work... Like get rid of everyone who knows what's going on and how to run things and then when everything goes wrong go "see we were right..."

Not to mention those opportunities have always been open to American workers... A lot of those jobs just pay so little that other opportunities for those workers were better choices so they never went there. get paid $13 in an adverse environment or $18 to make fast food.

There are so many scary things about all of this but the thing that keeps ringing in my head is the fact that we're heading into hurricane season and they took the warning signs out so the minute a hurricane hits while that's full of people....
