Before her most recent recolor Ahiru and Lami had the same color pallet. It’s possible they changed her to make her match Law as a sibling?

Lami also had the white lead sickness so it’s possible the reason she has robo arm because they could not save it when the revolutionary army saved her.

I saw a different theory that talked about how Lami could very much be Ahiru.

Ahiru is the deputy commander of the East Army in the Revolutionary Army and the assistant of Belo Betty.
